From the snowy mountains of Utah, Jane Wright is a working artist (and aspiring sculptor, performance artist, and auto-harp extraordinaire - she's working on it..). After graduating with a BFA in classical acting from Southern Utah University, she moved to the Midwest and lived there as a volunteer service missionary for 18 months. Since then she has moved to New York City and is pursuing art full time.
Her resume goes in a lot of different directions and illustrates the many passions Jane has for just about everything - from teaching to logo design to exhibitionist. She has illustrated a book with an independent author and brought her own unique voice to the marketing team of Egg & Spoon Theatre Collective. She has entertained as a requested guest artist at places like Anthropologie at Rockefeller Center and neighborhood "Drink and Draw" courses. Recently Jane has been pursuing her interest in Gallery work and Arts Administration. She recently worked as the gallery assistant at a contemporary fine art gallery in Chelsea, NYC.
She is always working on something and is grateful in the deepest depths of her soul for the opportunity and privilege to pursue art in its many forms.
